What are the results of receiving Polarity therapy? Integrating,
Releasing, Cleansing, Clarifying, Peaceful, Recharged.
Sometimes the emotions or issues corresponding with the physical problem may come up for the person to look at. At other times, people will achieve a great deal of mental or spiritual clarity during a session. Almost always, sessions are relaxing and releasing. People feel refreshed and renewed. Since energy pathways have been assisted in clearing, clients may feel more able to move, may feel cleansed, may feel more fluid in their bodies and minds and peaceful in their spirit. Polarity is often described by clients as a "recharging" experience. Are there some problems Polarity is particularly helpful for?Polarity does not seek to replace traditional medical treatment. In the British model of "complimentary medicine", Polarity is used as an adjunct to medical treatments.
However, we have seen Polarity to help dramatically in cases of chronic pain, fibromyalgia, digestive disorders, nervous system disorders and for clearing the mind. Sometimes the "mystery cases" that nothing else has been able to help are helped by Polarity because it deals with the energy beneath the physical issue, so often not addressed in Western medicine. Polarity is notable for the fact that because of its gentleness, it can be safely used immediately after a surgery or in cases of chronic pain. When used in hospice situations, it is a very deep and profound work . It can be very useful for dealing with emotional issues such as grief, depression and anger. Who is qualified to do Polarity Therapy?Look for the letters APP and RPP. Polarity Therapy is guided by the standards of the American Polarity Therapy Association. Its Standards for Practice and for Education are of a very high caliber. Currently, two levels of accreditation are given by the American Polarity Therapy Assocation. The Associate Polarity Practitioner Training has a minimum requirement of 155 hours. The Registered Polarity Practitioner Training has a minimum requirement of 615 hours. In most states, both levels of training are considered adequate to do Polarity Therapy. However, the Associate Level, is just that - an associate level of training where the Registered Polarity Practitioner training takes students to a fully professionalized level. |
