If You Choose “If You Choose” – the words to the song are actually from Baba to Gabriella, saying, “If you choose, we’ll stay connected.” She felt Him say that to her many years ago and it helped her so much. There is a great deal we don’t have control over, but perhaps as Baba said, we have some choice about keeping our connection to the Divine. If we take one step towards God, He will take 100 steps towards us. The album has many songs from Gabriella's younger years but was produced in 2008. She was so happy to be able to combine the passion and simplicity of earlier songs with hopefully the improved musical choices she might make at this age! She is joined by incredible musicians and supported by a great studio. It took a year and a half to put it together. Her health was bad and she had a serious surgery. Before she went into it, she started the project, thinking she just wanted to archive some songs in case she died. SheI was so relaxed because of the low-expectation situation, that it sounded good! And later, when she clearly lived, a little at a time, it was put together with great love from friends and family and beautiful artists.
